Arthur Tourkantonis grew up in Somerville, Massachusetts. After a stint in the Marine Corps, he returned home and joined the police force in Woburn, Massachusetts, a bedroom community just north of Boston. After spending a little over 20 years on the force, he retired as a Detective/Sergeant. He then went on to open his own law practice. He spent another 20 years as a distinguished criminal defense attorney. He and his wife retired to the West Coast of Florida. They split their time between homes in Florida and Woburn
